Participants will learn both the essential & intermediate skills needed to teach using D2L as a savvy instructor, including:
- Navigating the environment
- Configuring your personal settings
- Setting up your course
- Communicating with students
- Collecting documents in dropbox folders
- Delivering quizzes
- Managing a course calender
- Managing files and folders
- Managing course content topics and modules
- Managing a library of quiz questions
- Managing groups of students
- Monitoring student progress
This is a combined, intensive “boot camp” training session, wherein participants will complete both the first & second tiers (Essentials+Savvy) of the series of 3 tiers of training related to teaching in D2L.
A box lunch will be provided for all registered & confirmed attendees.

This session will be held in person at University Campus, so participants are encouraged to bring along a personal computer to practice.
